Just being there for a few days, I quite amazed that I was ready to stay there for like months? LOL, if only I have the chance of studying there =( The culture there is so freaking relax, or from another perspective, quiet after 5pm. Shops close at about 5pm daily.

I would be studying in this university.. Ahh… playing hide and seek in these Hogwarts-like place.

Sam’s back. So the ODAC people met up again for a little get together at Overeasy @OneFullerton. The place has a great view of the IR that is currently under construction. Not much wind this time as we sat near the pillar =( Once again we all order beer and lovely nice food and make merry wit each others company.

Man, time really flies fast. It’s been only a few years that we were all training together under the hot sun, running long distances stuff, running up and down mountains doing crazy shitz. Look at us now! Most of us are working, some in banking, IT line. Some are still mugging away in the universities.

So next up, WHO’S GONNA GET MARRIED FIRST? MUAHAHAHAH!!! Some of them got a number for hdb flat liao… keke.

Refreshed, Icontinue with walking around Stratfield. A nice place like every other mini-town in Sydney. Lots of shop houses at every corner. I arrived rather early about 730am, since it was just one stop away from Lidcombe.

They are very good parallel parkers!!

From what I heard from my colleague, she recommend a few Korean restaurants in this area. Can’t seem to find them though. Maybe I was there way too early, the shops weren’t open.

There has been lots of releases of ereaders with eInk technology for the past few months, especially at the recent CES. As a frequent reader, it’s quite a hassle to lug books around to read when travelling to work. Think of Harry Potter Books and their lovely think harcovers. All that could change by using a digital ereader. Before this, I was very tempted in getting a PSP for the daily commuting to work on the train.

Yup, join the cult of the the gamer generation drones of keeping their eyes to a screen, mashing buttons away for the rest of their lives. That’s something I guilty of. I had a Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP once. I played and played everywhere. It felt rather disturbing to be playing games, at home, outside of the home and such. Sold it away to a nice kid, kids these days are rich >.>

And switched to magazines and books. Now, those ereaders are seducing me. Irresistably.

Contenders worth considering imo. Amazon Kindle, Sony ereaders, the upcoming ASUS ereader, QUE.

I’m looking at the Sony ereaders currently. Just waiting for the ASUS one to be out and make a comparison before making the move.

Or rather, I’m too broke to indulge in all these wonders at the moment cos the Sakura in Tokyo are calling out to me in March.
