One of a few scenes in the typical morning at the workplace. People queueing up for that hot cup of coffee amidst the splashing of the water cascade. I would most prob be drinking an iced tea at this same bench looking at this view every morning.

Then rush off to the department when times up.

And that would be all I’m writing about work =P The rest, I won’t mention what I do. It’s confidential… Shhh… muahahah!

This song has been stuck in my head for a week..

And I haven’t been touching the camera!!! I’m gonna get rusty! But I don’t have the feeling anymore after the short affair with the 5d Mark II. Save me.

I’m concentrating on leveling the rogue to 80 first, before starting on my lv 55 Deathknight as a farming character. How long have i played this game? 2 years? LOL, I really hate leveling an alt all the way from level 1.

Everyone in the guild is busy leveling, while i’m stuck in this certain period of countless project waiting to be completed. So i’m back to casual casual mode =(

And recently my social life went for a normal ZERO to uber packed weeks of gatherings and outings. The only complaint i have the nudging pain in the wallet. Overall, that was a few pretty fun weeks!

I WANT TO WOW!!!!!!

No!!! Take me please! =’(

The feeling of rejection is horrible and sad. Makes me think of what is wrong with me? What did I do to make it that way? It feels like the whole world is going against me, and I shouldn’t even exist to defile the purity of this world…

So who rejected me? Shutterstock.com. The cold, heartless way. In an email. Brutal.

10/10 of my photos submitted were rejected. “Please try again in 30 days time.” So utterly demoralised. At that very moment, seems like very photo I ever took were not worthy to by seen by anyone. I was unconvinced. I need to LEVEL up!

I will submit again in 30 days time. In these 30 days, I will find things to shoot for stock photography. I will make US$10 on the very first batch of my submission in 30 days. RAWR!

Stock photography is so totally different from all the normal shoots. They want it clear, clean, no noise, no shadows, good lighting, good composition, no dark and half-f*cked images.

Ultimately, photos with commercial value. It isn’t about art or that ‘feel good’ feeling. More on to skills to shoot everything clearly for many people to use on their websites, their posters, their brochures and their advertisements! I’m shooting for my potential clients! Not for myself!

Now that I have my DIY lighting tent. That should make things slightly easier. But I certainly do need more powerful lamps to brighten the lighting. I should not be even using ISO 400 or flash directly. Grr… I need 2x pocket wizards and 2x flashes or 1x powerful 3500K 50-75W white fluorescent lamp.

Looks like more training of my hidden stash of anime figurines…

This cheap game on the PS3 is loads of fun! $11 on the Playstation Network =D Have been gaming to much lately. Going crazy in WoW with the thinking of how to perfect my Rogue in PVP. But then, learnt the hard way of re-speccing twice. Oh well, it’s a blessing that my investments in the AH are pretty strong. That can last me for a while.

So we went to play Starcraft again… crazy mad rushing. Remember those days at the lan shops. Playing this game for hours and not going home. Hah! Now we play this at home!

All this playing has made me think broadly on tactics to accomplish the goals, be it strategy or WoW. Lots of thinking and planning is involved. Keeping the mind active. =D

Need to focus on the project at hand.. argh..

The power is in your hands!

After much playing around with the flashes from Canon. I find it hard. The settings must be just right to create a optimum amount of light to fall on the skin. I need to get that soft light to show the beauty and glow of the skin. It’s all studio lights! Expensive =(

After more playing with lights, I’m getting the hang of taking objects with lights. See that glowing thingy? and the random 3 -man pose found jie’s blog. Silhouettes! Pretty abstract! Need more random shots. And not the same few things that we take! After dabbing so much into photography, I feel that it has its own unique beauty. Photography, that is. Need to explore more genres! And experiment more random things. Hmm, models anyone? *evil grin*

WoW was pretty exciting this week with the premades going into WSG and EoTS and AB! Gotta hand it to Gibbs, to create a channel as a network to grab notable pvpers for premades =) We won like 9 out of 10 games! Really much more fun than doing it alone.

Attachment tomorrow! It’s a halfday too! I gotta make it home to take the last sunset of 2007!
