<p>Eat, sleep, dive pretty much summarise most of the activities on board.</p>
<p>Kinda say I saw a lot of fishes than usual. Just trying out the LOB culture =)</p>

<p>Short breaks and the sea never fails to amaze me every time.</p>
<p><span id="more-723"></span>
<p>Yes, another uber long break. The existence of facebook kinda made this blog a little neglected. And as we get older, do we tend to keep things more to ourselves or the privatization of the being starts to take place when we form new relationships?</p>
<p>Then again, Facebook came in. I&#8217;m still in the process of finishing my Japan photos. just a few more days left!</p>
<p>It was on my mind. I was more comfortable with water than air. Water calms me somehow. Then, why not try some water stuff?</p>
<p>After looking through my colleague&#8217;s photos taken from their dive in Sipadan, I was quite attracted to the concept of clear sea water. Beautiful crystal clear sea water glistering in the sun. The beauty of that clear sea water never occurred to me, as I would have taken the sea for granted as mere body of water. An understatement, on my part.</p>
<p>I couldn&#8217;t let it go to let myself think that the sea is just a body of water. Sea water. There are other stuff out there that I haven&#8217;t seen&#8230;</p>
<p>Off I go on a  open water diving course with Gill Divers to clear up that hazy part on the sea. They say they breathe better underwater! It&#8217;s true!</p>
<p>16 metres under the sea. I was breathing through the regulator. The meaning of a breath changed underwater. Soon, I was looking at cute Nemos with their anemone home, waving to fishes swimming by, &#8220;flying&#8221; over large boulders, in and out of rifts. Out of the blue, in the tinted blue atmosphere, a sea turtle was munching on some coral!  Awesome creatures hidden under the veil of a water body.</p>
<p>Would be looking forward to signing up for my Advanced course soon. Maybe, work my way up to Divemaster.</p>
<p>2 forms of masters by 30. That&#8217;s it!</p>

<p>A short break from work to HK for my graduation from my degree course and, hopefully, to witness the brutal power of a hurricane. Well, the hurricane wasn&#8217;t planned as plan of the trip. An unexpected natural event that occurred seemed to have pulled my attention away from the intended graduation objective. Being in sunny island for too long, the only extreme natural incidents worth mentioning would be hot, humid, hazy or lots of rain and thunderstorm.</p>
<p>An hurricane/ cyclonic level event would be totally way out of the scale =D</p>
<p><span id="more-681"></span>
<p><a title="View 'IMG_8122' on Flickr.com" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/92516267@N00/5131613139"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1422/5131613139_c4eb00173d.jpg" border="0" alt="IMG_8122" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Due to the ingenious idea of capitalism, I was unable to get an internet connection in my 3-star hotel room unless i paid an arm or a leg, everyday. When compared to a shabbier and cheaper backpacker lodge where conditions are adequate for a good night rest, FREE WIFI is available to the everyone without lifting a finger. Lack of updates for the next few days as my only internet source would be tapping into wifi connections on the streets.</p>
<p><a title="View 'IMG_8128' on Flickr.com" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/92516267@N00/5132223432"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1228/5132223432_f4d3859450.jpg" border="0" alt="IMG_8128" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Chill and enjoy the mango desserts =)</p>

<p>This is one of the few fireworks photos that survived my level of QC. The rest were, of course, DELETED. Going to these places without a tripod just because you wanna travel light, gives you a disadvantage at certain times. The 6 year old Canon EOS 350D is so lacking in terms of performance compared to cameras of today. So the goal for now: Earn enough to buy a EOS 5D Mark II body by 30 Nov.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_0284 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3377697475/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3626/3377697475_151a46e81a.jpg" alt="_MG_0284" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Lots of things at Hong Kong Disneyland to see! Felt like becoming a kid again. When I was younger, I was quite envious of others to have the chance to travel overseas, especially to countries with Disneyland theme parks. All their pictures with Mickey Mouse and the rest are so nice. Then again, my family aren&#8217;t doing that well in the past, overseas trip are pretty much non-existent. And Dad doesn&#8217;t like to travel. =(</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_0119 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3378469934/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3657/3378469934_5cd93dca27.jpg" alt="_MG_0119" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So when you grow older, make a list of things to do when you didn&#8217;t get a chance to do when you&#8217;re at kiddo level. Do them and have FFUUUNNNNNNNN ^^So I can tick &#8220;A Photo with Mickey Mouse&#8221; off the list!!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_0350 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3378530892/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3471/3378530892_1f6dbdefc9.jpg" alt="_MG_0350" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Oh, and spare like 2 days for Hong Kong Disneyland if you wanna try all the rides and shows. If not, pick and choose to last for a day. Must try their caramel popcorn! They are UBER nice!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_0155 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3377663491/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3436/3377663491_a7513e36ea.jpg" alt="_MG_0155" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Not much of a post here =P Just started working and time is getting really scarce. Well, most of them would be spent on staring at the computer doing other things, like flying the F35 JSF around Los Angeles finding a truck carrying a nuclear bomb in <a href="http://hawxgame.us.ubi.com/" target="_blank">H.A.W.X.</a> or editing photos.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_0206 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3377681893/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3555/3377681893_3c2ca36f37.jpg" alt="_MG_0206" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Check back <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/sets/72157615523965203/" target="_blank">here</a> often for new uploads =) To infinity and BELOW!</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Girl: Damn, why am I with him? The other boy is cuter&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Boy: Her hands are wet&#8230;. Quit taking our photos, jerk.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Lots of kids at the park. Part of a typical day there.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9615 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367172881/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3654/3367172881_5885466456.jpg" alt="_MG_9615" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Really long escalators to transport you to the top. There were about 3-4 of them. These are the kind of escalators that you don&#8217;t want to play on them.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9624 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367999490/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3470/3367999490_398c175307.jpg" alt="_MG_9624" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This ride is kinda fun. Apparently, after the crazy ride at <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3284653248/in/set-72157613875828599/" target="_blank">Thunder Dolphin</a> at Suidobashi, Tokyo, this feels quite mild for me.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_9636 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367179985/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3454/3367179985_84dcfe8971.jpg" alt="_MG_9636" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The famous lighthouse at Pacific Pier which leads you to a seal enclosure, more water animals and anything wet. Like&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9642 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3368006182/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3561/3368006182_579ae0a1ee.jpg" alt="_MG_9642" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sea lion! And a human, who refrains from getting wet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="_MG_9648 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3368008828/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3661/3368008828_8b1a193c39.jpg" alt="_MG_9648" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">They are rather shy, sometimes. Hiding their heads in the water.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9650 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3368010412/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3561/3368010412_ecc3410377.jpg" alt="_MG_9650" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">What&#8217;s a ocean theme park without a water show? I don&#8217;t really like animals listening to human instructions and doing things only to fascinate humans. But sadly, that&#8217;s the only way I can see them for now. Gotta go see them in their natural habitat someday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9654 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367187965/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3647/3367187965_6056488986.jpg" alt="_MG_9654" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">ZOMG!! They have <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bottlenose_Dolphin" target="_blank">bottlenose dolphin</a>s! Me loves bottlenose dolphins!!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9720 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367210055/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3444/3367210055_99be4c8931.jpg" alt="_MG_9720" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">They have cows too. MOOOooo&#8230;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This thing. We didn&#8217;t try this. =(</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9784 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3368053518/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3567/3368053518_0ce3625439.jpg" alt="_MG_9784" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nautilus" target="_blank">Nautilus</a>! (K, the image is blurred. The ISO sucked. The time to change to a new body is so long overdued. Even longer when I spent money for this trip&#8230; But it&#8217;s worth it =) ) I have only seen them in fossil forms with their shells embedded into rocks. I was too ignorant to do some research into them to find out that they are still around today. They haven&#8217;t evolved for millions of years! I&#8217;m very very lucky to see them =D</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="_MG_9793 by Kazesuki, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xepherio/3367232993/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3595/3367232993_fabb3d80f0.jpg" alt="_MG_9793" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
