Hence, this explains my desire to collect of the Black Rock Shooter Series. All the photos were taken using a 100m macro lens @ F22. They do give better focus of details of the figurine. And, F22 aperture size gives it an overkill on the details. Therefore, the details of every nook and notch on the figurine is displayed to showcase the quality and beauty of the figurine.

Clicky-Clack! That’s what this keyboard sounds like. The Razer Blackwidow is a mechanical button keyboard which each keys feels crisp like a mouse click. All the technical blah blah about half-press to initiate a keypress signal can be found on the Razer site. There are 2 versions, the normal one and the Ultimate. I have no use for the keyboard lights glaring at my face for an extra $50, so I gave the ultimate version a miss. Response time is fast, precise and sensitive.Very well suited for gaming purposes with programmable marco buttons to the right.

?If you play games that frequently needs you to press F1 at the top. Do take note they shifted the whole set of F# buttons one button to the right. ? There is a possibility of pressing the wrong keys at times that are not registered in a normal keyboard. But this one here is a rather sensitive piece of equipment.

If you’re looking for a change in keyboard for gaming purposes, don’t mind noisy keyboards, and you need fast responsive keystrokes, give this Blackwidow a try =)

Smuggled back from Akihabara at escalated prices, this is like the last piece on display there. It’s cost twice as much as the initial pre-order launch. Learnt lesson from this. If you find something damn nice and it’s like coming back into your head periodically, freaking pre-order it!

The setup i use for shooting the figurine is pretty simple. Make a windowed box out of cardboard with tracing paper covering the windows. Remember! windows must be cut out from all sides. Attach white paper or other colored paper/ cloth for the backdrop, place a lamp on either side or top of the windows. This would create a mini-studio with diffused lighting. Over here, I connected the USB to the camera and MacBook Pro to get a clearer view of the sharpness of the figurines on the bigger screen. Use a tripod! Viola!

After surfing for so long, Kazesuki’s fingers are tired from swiping after some time. And, Kazesuki is starting to use more of the MBP for photos soon. Kazesuki will need a mouse. So, Kazesuki is out in the market for a new mouse. Preferably, wireless connectivity with bluetooth.   Got attracted to these lovely things. Apple’s Magic mouse, Microsoft’s Arc Mouse and Razer’s Orochi!

Wonder which should Kazesuki go for. Follow the cult of Mac sleekness or the pure black snakes of Razer or the monopolistic feel of Microsoft? Apple has that multi-touch function. But that annoying aerodynamic low-profile top is giving me the reluctance to touch it. Razer on the other hand has loads of experience in mouses handling. Both of these 2 have bluetooth connectivity. The Arch mouse has to be connected with a usb dongle, which means one USB port down =( Kazesuki is left with one remaining port.

Having killed 5 mices in a span of 10 years ++, the Razer ones lasted the longest. Used 2 so far, had a Krait, then got another Copperhead. Now, perhaps, it’s the Orochi. The kill list are the first version of Microsoft optical laser mouse, 2 logitech ballmice, 2 optical logitech mice.
