Oh, it’s that day again.
There always this one day in February that never fails to inspire mixed reactions amongst people. Valetntines Day is about THE LOVE. Couples get to go lovely dovey on the streets holding hands while displaying roses given by their loved ones. I was in town in the afternoon to witness this phenomenon happening. Lots of rose sellers propped up on the streets, chocolate stores jacking up prices. Commercialism is a very mixed and surreal feeling at this time of the year.
So from a singles perspective, what do I or the singles club feel about this day? Let us call it Single Awareness Day, or a more favourable note, Singles Appreciation Day. Such a weird day for us. Oh well!
