Discovery
There was this new park connector opened near Vivocity that connected 3 parks together for a stretch about 9km long. So the regular park walker in me decided to go for a little walk to see new things. Or it’s just in me to feel like a tourist once in a while, especially in my own country. There are always things yet to be discovered in this ‘tiny’ island
Well, I was supposed to go alone. Mum and Dad decided to join in =P It was a really long walk. Lots of stairs and uphills and downhills. In my point of view, it is a great route to run. Should go try it out some day.
Took quite a bit of photos. The map could be found here.
Back at home, after looking through the photos, I have this sudden feeling of dissatisfaction of the photos I took. I rejected about 150 photos I took for that day. About 30 barely made it. The turn over isn’t great. Honestly, it was horrible. If I would have to cut down more, it would be left to be like 10 photos.
I need to start shooting people. People portraying emotions. Close-ups. Action photos. Not inanimate subjects like buildings, plants. People are the hardest to take.
Hopefully, my trip to Japan would open my eyes and mind to more possibilities, more different perceptions, more styles to photography. =/
